how many lenses are they in the world of photography? and what are they?

In addition to the above, there are lenses designed for DSLR APS-C sensors (DX = Nikon, EF-S = Canon), full frame DSLR or 35 mm SLR cameras, medium format cameras and large format cameras like 4x5 view cameras. Then of course there are the lenses designed for motion picture cameras and other specialized photo applications.

A list of so called "normal" lenses of various format cameras

DSLR-APS-C = ~ 30 to 35 mm
DSLR full frame/35 mm = 50 mm to 60 mm
645 medium format = 75 mm
6x6 medium format = 80 mm
4x5 inch view camera = 180 to 210 mm
8x10 inch view camera = 305 to 360 mm
