How many judges actually favor criminals in civil suits?

How many judges will award a civil lawsuit to a criminal who was shot by the victim?

For example, a burglar breaks into a house and gets shot/stabbed/bit by dog and ends up surviving, but sues for getting injured.

How realistic is it that a criminal actually wins a case like this? To me, it's just ridiculous to even think that something like that would make it to court, especially if they were criminally prosecuted and charged.

I find this question very interesting. To be honest I would hope none, however I'm sure there are some out there who have slipped and almost fallen to give the criminal an judgment of award.
