i may get a 20 gallon tank(with filtration)i was wondering how many fish could live comfortably in it i recently have gotten really in to raising fish so thanks for your answers (sorry for the typos)
for a 20 gallon if your looking for small fish you could get around 15. if your getting larger fish give them 2 gallons per inch for 10 inches of fish total.
For small fish its supposed to be one inch of fish per gallon of water if its tropical and two inches of fish per gallon for coldwater. Also you have to keep in mind the size the fish will get when its an adult so its supposed to be the mature size of the fish that you use for the inch of fish per gallon.
