How many films have you seen in the cinema so far this year?

None at all. I dont like cinemas as im a bit of a fidget.

I prefer to be at home with a large box of choccies, G&T, doggies to snuggle with - and watch it there.

Night at the Museum
The Departed
Hot Fuzz
Smoking Aces
Road Hogs
Spiderman 3
POTC:AWE

Man, thats only seven films. I thought I saw more than that, but to be honest thre hasn't been many i've been dying to see.

Ive seen 27 films (well 26, I saw Rocky twice)
Im lucky enough to go to alot of free screenings, still i paid for alot of them too. The most ive ever seen in a year before this was 30, and that was last year. I'll have that beat by April this year :D Ill doubt ill ever see this many ever again. Most of the films have been atleast decent, with only a few stinkers (NORBIT)

So what have you guys seen, would be interesting to read. My only regret is that my nearest Independent cinema is a bit far, so i dont get to see as many Indy/foreign films

Only a couple. I'm starting to really hate my local multiplex; last time I had to ask one of the staff to sort out the aspect ratio  Surely they should be able to tell at a glance?!!

im yet to start watching David Lynch. At the moment im getting through Linklater, Hallstrom & Scorcese...i might check out Lynchs film once im dont with these 3. My lovefilm rental list is pretty long still

ug, i hate technical faults. There is one projectionist at my multiplex who is a total hack. Its always on the same screen (one of the smaller ones), he gets the colours messed up somehow. My cinema is an odeon now, but its been there for about 80 years, so some of the screens are a bit akward for views...especially when it comes to subtitles, you have to make sure you sit at the front, otherwise peoples heaRAB will obscure your view of the text.
ive been a regular here for about 15 years, so i know where not to sit.

Ooohh of course! Red Road... adding that to mine too. Fantastic film, and the bus ride home went past the red road estate! - terrifying!
