How many exercises should I do per muscle group?

and would it be better for me to do
Mon: Upperbody
Tues: Cardio
Wed: Abs
Thur: Cardio
Fri: Legs

OR

Mon: Chest
Tues: Back
Wed: Shoulders
Thur: Arms (biceps+triceps)
Friday: Abs
with a few minutes of cardio each day
