My 4 year old daughter started Pre-K this year and she loves it. They go everyday from 8:00 to 3:00. The first couple of months were great, she didn't miss any days, but once cold and flu season started she has missed left and right. She has probably missed a total of 2 weeks and she is actually at home today because I thought she might be getting pink eye, but I think I was wrong because she's playing and her eyes are completely clear now, maybe it was just allergies or a cold. I'm just wondering how many days is normal to miss and how often your little one misses. Also, when do you keep them home? Only when they are running a fever? What about coughs? I'm a stay at home mom (also have a 20 month old) so I have an easier option when it comes to her staying home or not. Also, how do they count Pre-K absences? Just like every other grade or more lenient since they are little and constantly sick? Thanks!
