How many car amps do u need?

so i did ask a question earlier about channels and looking it up it would cost alot more money to get that wattage the subs i'm looking at have 600 peak power and 400 rms so my question is can i get an amp for each one that has 1250 peak and 560x1 continuous use, so that would be 2 subs and two amps and then another amp for the speakers because that seems like alot of amps
 
well to make it simple i would just get a two channel amp that runs between 400 to 600 watts and use that. that would be a lot easier than hookin up more than one.
