About a couple days ago I got a juvenile bearded dragon, when he first got home he had fresh water in his bowl, fresh celery, carrots, and juvenile bearded dragon pellets. he ate some at first but rarely ate around me, every day I did the same dish and eventually when I went to school i could see progress since you could tell he ate and messed around with his food when I got back. I completlly forgot about protein and later that day I got him zoo meds can 'o' crickets. The next day before I left to school I put fresh pellets in and six of the crickets in the bowl. When I got back I notice he bit one of the crickets and moved them around and ate some pellets. I came to the solution to act like the crickets were live, so I got some chop sticks and moved the crickets around him and he ate them as quick as a flash, he ate five but refused to eat the sixth. I don't really no how much they really eat if thats to little or too much. He is a juvenile and he ate them just fine. I have to say the crickets were pretty decent size but I don't know. (sorry for the long story) I just want to give the most info so the question gets answered correctly.)
