How many books does there have to be in a series to call it a "Chronicle" of something?

Can it be two or does it have to be more? I know it has to go in order...Chronicles go in order, as in chronological order. Is there a rule for how many books have to be in a series for it to be called a Chronicle (i.e. the Chronicles of Narnia)?
Wow! 69 books! Are there any series out there that have that many?
