how many 12 x 12 ceramic tiles be laid in one hour?

need inexpensive tile job done w/o grout--how many can be laid per hour. can the thinset be shaped into grout lines? basement w/minimal cuts and butted joints.
can a basement of approx. 255 sq.ft. be laid in one day.
 
Yes you can do it definitely lay the tile in one day but don't use thinset to grout.
Grout using a standard grout sand mix wait the required time..
 
I am sorry unless you have a pro tiler that has done this your job will never be done without problems. So you can lay,but you will pay and pay and pay. Just do the job your self if you want cheap. Look in the internet of how to lay tile.
 
If the job is generally open and not going in and out of a bath room or closets, yes it can be done in one day.
And no thin set cannot be used as a grout and neither should you tight butt ceramic tiles. Minimum 1/8 " and grout is needed. Both to keep debris out of the joints, to protect edges from being chipped and to add over all strength to the tile.
