without a license.? My teenage daughter was caught sneaking out of the house to be with her boyfriend. I found out after the fact. She did take my car ( even though she doesn't have her license yet). How long would you ground your child for if this happened to you? I did take away her cellphone for a month but her body is still grounded ( has been for 2 months). I do believe 2 months would be enough just for the sneaking out but stealing my car is another issue. I have a hard time trusting her since she is still secretly seeing this loser of a boyfriend. We only know of 2 times that she sneaked out but I am sure it was more thank that. I am concerned about this boyfriend because he lies, cuts school, continually sneaks out of his house, also drives without a license. His parents have pretty much given up on him. Before she meet him we never had any problems with her .
