how long will the ps3 retail at $600?

ps2 was what, $250 when it came out? now it's $120 (last time i saw it at target)...

I agree, its gonna be a while. You may see the 50 dollar price cut by the end of next year to raise sales, but thats very unlikely.

Are you serious? The PS2 was about ?300 here on release :| I guess the exchange rate wouldn't have been as bad then, but that would be like $600 now.

it'll be quite a while. the 360 has been out a year and there's no drop. i think most consoles drop after about 2 years.
