I'm out on a $1000 bond for a misdemeanor which a job has paid the full amount but an extra Hundred because they still had to go Thur a bondsmen because the company is in another state. So basically the bondsman didn't put up any money and was also paid just to go give the court the money. Well there was a mix up during the process and my paper was marked may not leave the state. I have no where to live here in VA and need to get to mississippi to work and live.
I went the the cleck office to see how to change it and they said my attorney had to come with me and make a court date to change it. How long should this take? And now I'm worried about the chances of them not changing it and if they find out I don't have a home in this state will the revoke the bond?
This is the first time I've ever been in any trouble and man I will think twice ever again before drinking like that. Just worried about how long really should it take to see the judge any help would be great thanks ahead of time.
Also the bondsmen is good with it being changed also
