After we are married and he adds me to his coverage, how long will it take before my coverage takes effect (I can go to the doctor)? I've never had health insurance before and the person he talked to at work yesterday didn't know. He has Aetna but I'm not sure of the details.
He did, it clearly says so in the details after the question. No one at work or at Aetna would give him a straight answer that's why I asked here. Hopefully someone else has done this and knows. Thanks for answering like a jerk.
