I have so much debt (over 30,000) that I decided to go with Consumer Credit Counseling. I already checked this company and it is legit, not a scam. This will help me pay off my debts sooner, and also, will let me have a less stressful life. In exchange for that, my credit score will probably be hurt bad for several years. I'm aware of this, and willing to do the sacrifice. But, once I pay off my debs, and restart my history with a secured credit card, how long do you think it's going to take me to get enough good credit history to even be considered for a home loan? This is considering the credit counseling services that I'm going to enroll to.
