How long will beat greens keep good frozen?

How long will greens like beats leaves, spinach, swiss chard stay good in a freezer or their vacuum packed in freezer bags, all air has been removed.

I can see them staying as good as fresh for 10 years at least since they are vucuum packed, how can leaves go bad?
Even if they won't stay good that long will they make you sick?
