I'm looking at a Jeep Cherokee (not Grand Cherokee) from 2001 that has 110 thousand miles on it. It looks to be in good shape, but I have no idea how long this kind of Jeep would run.
I have seen a 1991 Jeep Cherokee had over 600,000 miles on it with original engine and still running today. The Jeep had a 4.0 engine that was well taken care of. The oil and maintenance were done on time. Depending what engine is in the Jeep, I've found that the 4.0 engine is the best. So I think that a 2001 Jeep with a 4.0 that was well taken care of will last a long time as long as you take care of it.
