I already took and passed the entrance counseling. How long is the wait for the promissory note? I start school at the end of August. I am just worried that my aid won't be paid on time and books to be purchased (I will be receiving overage on my aid to pay for books and a laptop computer). I did ask my financial aid counselor regarding this matter, and all she told me was that I have to "wait" for the notification of the promissory note. Unfortunately, she gave me no specific time frame. I have not been back to school since the late 80's (I'm 42) so things have definately changed regarding financial aid procedures. Thank you very much!
