How long take for Meloxicam allergy symptoms to go away....

I have an allergic reaction to Meloxicam, swollen throat/swallowing. Took the med for total of 10 days. I can breathe o.k.

Wondering how long do the allergic reaction symptoms linger on? I have been off for 3 days now.

Recovering from recent shoulder shoulder and do not want to take a steroid, might interfer with healing.

Swelling is less today and I am taking Zyrtec.

Last night I chewed a glass of ice before going to bed and that helped some, throat not as swollen when I waked up.
