how long should i wait to get a blood test?

I stoped taking birth control pills over a month and a half ago. I should have started my period October 15 and i still have not. I am having some signs of pregnancy like being tired all the time, i drop everything, and i am craving random food.

I have taken home pregnancy tests and they come back negative, i have also called my doctor and the nurse says that sometimes it takes a while to become regular after stoping bc. but how long should i wait to get a blood test because if i am pregnant i want to start being sure that i am doing everything that i should be.
 
The nurse is right. If you do not have a period in the next 4 weeks, take another at home test. Typically you wont have a blood test until the at home test is positive or you are having obvious pregnancy signs (no period for extended time or extended abdomen).
