How long should I wait inbetween adding fish to my tank?

I bought more fish today, 3 Neon Tetras and two Guppies. I already have two Platies in my tank, and I added in the Neon Tetras today. I still have the other two Platies I want to add in. How much longer should I wait?
EDIT: Before I bought them I already had two Platies in my tank. I bought the three Neon Tetras and two more Platies today. I added in the Neon Tetras and my question is how long I have to wait before I add the new Platies.
EDIT EDIT: The Platies are not in bags, they're in a glass container for now until I put them in my tank.
EDIT EDIT: The Guppies aren't going to be in there.
EDIT x's 4: I est my tank often and it's currenly Nitrite - 0, Nitrate - 20, Ammonia - 0. My tank is 5gal.
 
If you bought them all today then I would go ahead and add them, they can't stay in bags for along time. Sorry if I read your thing wrong but it just seemed thats maybe what you were saying.
I would wait to add any new fish for a couple weeks so that everything evens out again without over whelming everything.
