my angels have bred and we have clear eggs on a leaf - some had turned white and the fish eat them, the remaining eggs have not changed and this is day 4 - will they hatch or is it too late? Is the water temp wrong? Any ideas what went wrong?

Are you sure you have a male female pair? If you have two females they will still lay eggs, but obviously there's nobody there to fertilise them.

If they are a pair, first attempts at breeding are seldom 100% successful and water cleanness/PH is more of a factor than temperature.

If you can't see a black dot in the eggs by now, they aren't going to hatch.

i agree with Marcus's answer. look very closely- angelfish fry will cling onto the leaf (or whatever surface the eggs were laid on) for a while after hatching before they become free swimming.

better luck next time! :)
