I live in NYC and my close friend literally walks his dog 2 or 3 minutes a day, the dog gets as far as the first tree on the block and does his business then he's right back up stairs. I tell my friend constantly the dog needs to be walked longer. (I've had many dogs in the past) When I'm over and the dog messes in the house he chastises the animal! Recently we had words because i told him it's not the dogs fault it's yours!
I would like some information on caring for a dog properly in NYC because clearly he has no clue! (this information will help me make a point) I want him to give the dog up because he doesn't care for it the right way.
