This girl was at the tail end of a bad relationship when I started to get to know her. She knew it was going to end soon but she still really liked the guy (even though he treated her like garbage). I'd found her sobbing on a park bench at 3 am where he'd ditched her after a fight, and walked her home and talked to her for a while, and for the next 2 months she invited me over to her place every weekend to hang out with her and her roommates.
About 3 weeks after we first started to get to know each other they finally broke up. She spent most of the night hugging onto me once he left. The next weekend she continued to hover around me, telling me how nice I've been to her and how happy shes been since I've been around. That night ended with her, myself, and her best friend/roommate all cuddled up in a bed together... but she basically wrapped herself around me the entire time.
Since then we've been flirting a lot over texts. She told me she wanted to make out most of that night but chickened out cause her roommate was there... and then got really panicky that she'd said too much and that I would think her wanting to make out with me was weird. She has texted me a ton since then. Some sober, some after she'd drank a bit, but not quite 'drunk' text level. She doesn't drink more than 2-3 a night, so she never gets actually drunk enough to make it an excuse.
Do you think she's still looking for a rebound hookup? Or legitimately likes me?
