If I were to talk to a recruiter tomorrow, about how long would it be before i went to boot camp, assuming i passed all the physicals and such? Is it different for different branches of the military?
It depends on what they have opened, how soon you want to go, and what job you pick. For some jobs, you might have to wait longer than others. Your recuriter will schedule your date to go, so ask your recuiter more about this, and they can give you an accurate date. I've heard of people leaving within a week or two, and i've heard of people having to wait nearly a year. it just depends. Myself, i was in the DEP program for three and a half months.
Honestly man it varies, I talk to one and shipped, no lie 3 weeks later and now I'm n A school, I picked a quick ship date and received a bonus for it... Its like the lottery...You goota ask the classifier/detailer...when you get to Meps not the recruiter..
