how long does the methylprednisolone pack work on pain will the pain return after I stop taking the prescription?
 
Hopefully not. I was on the exact same thing and it didn't work at all, but they also thought I had a herniated disc. I do not have that, I have a pars fracture which has caused one of my vertebrae to slip out of place. But, I still have a lot of inflammation in the nerves and the prednisone didn't work at all on me.
What are you taking it for?
 
i am taking it for lower lurabar and hip issues. but I have lymphedema I am not sure that the reason i have difficulty walking and sitting are not from that. the ortho doc put me on this stuff. I felt so great the first two days no Cane or anything! life was good. i danced with my sons cleaned house and all that fun stuff. i thought i would be able to have life again! today i drove a long way to see a lymphedema therapis and i am hurtting some. which brings back the fear of the pain returning.
 
Hmmm, well usually it takes a few days of taking it before you notice an improvement in the pain. How long are you taking it for? And what is the dosage? I was on it for 6 days. The first day I had to take 6 pills, then 5 the next day, then 4, and so on. Driving really aggrivates my pain as well. I know it felt good to be pain free, but you probably over did it those first two days. I would rest and keep taking the meRAB.
