How long does minocycline take to work?

How long does minocycline take to work? I cant hold on much longer!!!!! its almost been a month and the acne dont look any different. It worked before
in the past!!!!!
 
I saw results in about two weeks, granted it wasn't like i was totally clear but i could see a difference at the two week mark. I know because that's when i had to go back to the doctor and i remeraber him commenting that it looked better.
 
Minocycline takes 6-8 weeks to get the full effects....
Are you still breaking out or is the old acne not going away?
 
I was just prescribed this medication today. Sort of surrpised an antibiotic would cure acne. My doctor said to take one pill per day-what prescription strength are you taking? Has anyone here had side effects such as being dizzy, etc.,? Do you know why you have chronic acne? For me it started with a decrease in hormones at menopause. I never had acne when I was a teenager.
 
I would have to say that the old acne just want go away. as far as getting more acne goes I do ok. I acutually got 100% clear one time while on the medication.That was about seven months ago. Then I went off of the medication and it came right back about two months later. Now I am back on it and it has been a month. I am taking 1oomg in the morning and at night. I am also using clearasil salicylic acid paRAB too(3 times a day).Thinks taape and Sableboo.
 
I Have had acne since I was 12 years old, now I am 19 years old.
My worst years were from the age of 14 to 16. I look like a two for one at pizza hut.( pepperoni toping of course)
 
Your welcome. My neices and nephews are your age and they seem to be growing out of having acne. Hopefully you will too.
