How long does it take to study medicine in canada?

From the beginning. im probably going to finish high school there ( i live in another country right now) and then pursue medicine. im not super smart or anything(just average) but thats what i hope to do. So is it possible to study medicine right after high school grad? do u NEED a degree to study mediicine? and how long does the whole thing take?

Also can u do medicine with the MCAT only?
