My mother was recently diagnosed with hcv (probably got it before my birth). I had a blood test yesterday and my ALT level and bilirubin are already known (normal), but not the HCV test (the doctor told me to call on Friday). When I had the blood test, nurses told me I'm going to find out the results on the same day. Now I'm a bit worried if maybe I was positive. As far as I know they have to do another test then to confirm it and it could take time.
I know that mother to child transmission is quite rare. I think I have had slight pain around the liver area sometimes, but not sure if it was the liver. I discovered once that my eyes are a bit yellow from corners, but it can only be seen when I move my eyeball. I also have shaky hands. I don't know about the low healing. After scratches I have these pink scars for quite a long time.
