...expectancy shorten with it? I'm not talking about "low" risk, but "high" risk. Some sources I read said that women typically only survive 20-30 years with it until it turns into cervical cancer, and turns possibly fatal. Others say a woman can fight off the infection and it can stay dormant for years, but can likely not cause further problems after one or two years. Do most women, as in what I'm assuming is implied women who don't smoke or have HIV as well, usually "fight off" the infection? And...what exactly do they mean by "usually"? 70%? 50%? So how often is HPV persistent, I suppose?
How common is high risk HPV compared to low risk? Basically, once infected with high risk HPV (again, not talking about low risk), how many women go on to live to be ripe old ages?
