Anyone else out there have difficulty finding meRAB that actually work? I'm waiting for the scope but in the meantime I have been on different meRAB. I started with omoprazole which worked for about a month then the symptoms came back and even though I doubled up, it just didn't touch it. I was then put on linoprazole which again worked for about that length of time. I'm suppose to be going on holiday on Tuesday but am afraid I'm going to have to cancel. I've now been put on ranitide (zantac 150) twice a day. Had my first dose earlier but there's not even the slightest difference yet, in fact this is my worst day ever. Sorry, can't help fearing the worst. Gaviscon helps for at least two minutes, but if I take too much it seems to make the pain worse albeit in a different way. This is making me very depressed. I've had it since feb. when I was put on tabs for BP and statins also asprin. I stopped taking the asprin but it hasn't helped. Can anyone advise me on this?
