Recently I purchased an unlocked sidekick 2008, I live in Macau and my phone carrier is CTM, the APN is "ctmprepaid" and the login items are supposed to be left blank. After I restarted the phone I noticed 2 animated dots near the service bar. I looked online and saw that this means your phone has optained the IP address of the data server and is connecting, it also says that you need to wait until the two dots turn into three dots, then eventually it will turn into a G. I have left it like this for about 30 mins, and the two dots have stayed there and nothing happened. Does anyone know how long it will take for it to connect?
