How long does it take for a puncture wound to heal on a dog?

Long story short my dog got attacked by another dog yesterday and received two puncture wounds on his neck.

We took him to the vet who put him on a 10 day course of anti biotics and antiinflammatory medicine.
How long until these yucky wounds look less red and nasty?

Anything else I can do to speed up the process?
