My friend is waiting for his crown court date, it was supposed to be over 2 month ago for the trial but keeps getting delayed due to one of the prosecution witness being abroad. My friend should not really be in court, he was minding his own business when he was a approached by some drunken yobs, he woould have got beaten up if he hadn't hit the guy that went for him, unfortuniately my friend has a hard punch and it knocked the guy tio the ground. now he's up in crown court!!! this happened back in october last year. does anyone know how long this can go on for before it gets thrown out?
how long does it take before a court case is thrown out of court?
