how long does fish pregnancy last??

i serioulsy hav 2 kno cuz i just bought i one girl fish nd one boy fish of the same type. da girl has a black spot thingy near her stomach area nd her stomach is a little big. i hav 2 kno what is the time lapse like how many weeks will it take???
 
I'm assuming that you're talking about livebearers such as guppies, platys, swordtails, or mollies (since you brought up the "Black spot thingy" known as a gravid spot)

Without knowing which kind your fish is, it's hard to tell for sure.

However, most are pregnant for a month before giving birth. This is just a rough estimate though. If the stomach is squarish instead of roundish, she'll give birth within the week.
