What kind of shot did you get? If it was cortisone, it should last a good while. Why? Have you been re-exposed??

Actually it's my grandaughter that I was asking for, the doc said it was a steroid shot he gave her about a week or so ago and she says she has poison ivy again.

It could be possible but I doubt she'd be able to get another shot this soon. She'll have to just wait it out. Someone neeRAB to keep her out of the wooRAB/yard!

I highly recommend Zanfel (and no, I don't work for them, just love their product!)

Zanfel is a cream I use to wash off the poison ivy oil. It generally does very well, may take a few washes to get it all off. Usually it stops the itching within 10-30 seconRAB. Follow the directions, it isn't a lotion, it works more like a soap, and neeRAB diluted some, then washed off. Can be ordered (cheaper than drugstores) through Sam's pharmacy.

I was exposed last Saturday. The bumps popped up early Wednesday morning (yesterday), itched like crazy. I've washed several times during each day with the Zanfel, each time finished up with Benadryl gel, now I can mostly ignore it. Still some small bumps left, but not nearly as bad or swollen. And the couple of other places that hadn't formed bumps have become much less red. In fact, one spot isn't red or itching any more at all.
