...on an offer put down? We put an offer on a bank owned condo at asking price. It was rejected, we believe it might be because we are using our VA loan and the seller has to pay the VA fee. So we offered $5k more and now we're just waiting. But I heard they have to let you know within a certain amount of days? It is a bank owned condo, needs some work, and there haven't been any offers on it.
Do you think banks usually don't like working with VA loans? Can't that be considered discrimination if that is the reason?
Any help...we've been going through this for a long time, and my husband is going to be deployed soon and we need to find somewhere before he leaves. Any info on how long it usually takes for a bank to respond? (We are in southern calif)
