how long does a .25 xanax last?

When i take one it "kicks in" in about 20-30 min. and lasts for about 4 hours. works great.
 
I was feeling anxious this morning so after "putting off" taking one. I don't know why i wait sometimes. I finally took a xanax and in about 30 min. I felt so NORMAL. it lasted all day and i felt fine the rest of the day. I am so thankful this low dose works for me when i need it.
