how long do you have to get to your first duty station in the army?

my finace is taking a flight here on the 2nd of oct and he has leave for 15 days and hes using a rapid rewards so the rounf trip only allows him to stay here the 2nd through the 14th or the 2nd through the 19th and we booked the 2-14, but he has 2 days of no where to do, so my question is if we book the 2-19th would he get in trouble? i heard they have a couple days to report to their first duty station. he doesnt know his yet, but he said its on a weekend and it would be the 22nd because they approved his leave already and his leave days would end on a weekend. so we're assuming it would be the weened after that one
