Low and slow--6 hours @ 220F, covered. They're better to me if you start 'em out on the grill first to seer 'em and to give 'em some smoke flavor. If yer gonna gunk e'm up with sauce, do that after they're done. I'm a fan of just s & p.
this depends on what type of meat you are cooking and how much they weigh.....the best way to cook rib i have found is boil in water with a full can of beer for and hours then bbq for 10 minute on medium and baste with your favorite bbq sauce...
250 in the oven wrapped in foil for 2 1/2 hours. then remove the foil and broil the top to caramelize all of the sugars. Alton Brown swears by this and so do I!
