I've had my Betta fish for approximately 5 months and now something is starting to change. His blue color is fading underneath his mouth and his eyes look deeper and sick.. I'm worrying that he may be ill or maybe dying.. What's wrong with him? And if you think he is ill, what medicine would you recommend?
Any help is appreciated beforehand.
Please answer only if you know or have experience. I don't want any answers like "He is sick! Give him some medicine!" or "Let it die in peace". You're really not helping.
I have a 5 gallon tank, filtered, oxygenated, medicated. I change the water every month though just in case.
Remwen: No it doesnt have any other signs. It eats well and often just like it always did. It lives in a 5 gallon tank which is oxygenated and filtered with 2 more fish that pose no threat to it. It eats Artemia Shrimps and Bloodworms with the other fish and the standard complete food for Siamese fish.
Sara: It's turning pale blue and white. It doesnt have any other markings or spots. It eats like it always did and his behaviour is just fine.
