How long do most colleges take to refund your money when you pay before

financial aid kicks in? I registered for a class for summer before I got approved for financial aid. I paid because it wasn't that much. Do colleges wait till the term is over to refund or do they wait a certain amount of time to refund. I paid when the class started about 4 weeks ago
