Jeep is not the quality product it once was. I have several friends who bought and regretted it almost immediately. One spent more time in the shop than on the road and the other got rid of the vehicle in less than two years.
You have to be really careful with engines with that many miles on. IF the vehicle has been well maintained with regular oil changes, then you stand a good chance. Take the overall condition into account, that will tell you how the owner took care of the vehicle. If the outside has been abused, I'd bet the engine was too.
