How long do ford's last? meaning mileage?

I am looking into a 2000 ford focus zx3 with 130,000 miles on it, the owner claims that he has taken care of it very well and i am offering him $2,500 for it and he seems to accept the offer. I am just wondering how long this car would last me and if it is a good buy. HELP ME PLEASE
 
Depends how they were taken care of and driven.

Focuses are not good cars, but the new 2009 one is really a Mazda, making it a great car.
$2500 is a lot considering I cannot sell my mom's 2000 Honda Accord SE with 130,000 miles. Everyone is asking $2000-2500 for it and it is much more upscale and more powerful than a Focus.
