How long did it take for your cycle to start?

How long did it take for your cycle to begin again after completion of Breastfeeding. It's been about 6wks for me and still nothing. When I breastfed my second son, I breastfed him until he was 1. My cycle started when he was 11mos. So this has really caught me off guard.
WOW!! I guess I'll just have to wait it out and just be prepared, THX!!!
