Some students in the aquarium club at my school left it unplugged but also had JUST put the fish in, and the water was extremely dirty and they hadn't made it the approp. temperature or put the fish in gradually or anything. After the fish were in there about 20 min., the tank was accidentally unplugged for about an hour. After plugging it back in, I noticed all the fish except the cichlid dwarves had died. Was it the lack of oxygen or the bad water conditions that killed these fish immediately?
