Hope it's a long time. Driving a Toyota now. The trade in we used when we got it had 268,000 miles. (it wasn't a Toyota but got crappy gas mileage)

It's just a machine. And for the same reason that machines from 100 years ago are still working....so is the same with cars.

Maintain it, and it will last.

Doesn't matter if it's Toyota, GM, or something else.
