I am buying this very old Honda Accord from someone. My mom thinks the car will break down within days. I hear people say they have the same car and it still works well today. The car has 256000 miles on it, however, and therein lies the problem. Can I really expect this car to last very long, or am I making a huge mistake buying it? I have heard Hondas are built to last, but if I am honest with myself, the car is 20 years old.
What can I expect and what should I not expect?
The outside is in amazing condition.
It has all new parts that have been replaced and some parts that are still running well after so many years.
I have heard many good testimonies about this car.
I have a cushion of over $1500 that I am setting aside just for this car. I plan to take very good care of this car, and hope it will take care of me in return.
I'm paying $525 for it...which is stupid I guess...but we all have to be dumb sometimes. It will be worth it if it lasts a long time.
