How long can you directly connect two PCs using crossover ethernet cable without dysfunction?
I am using 60 ft and they don't connect for some reason. If I connect them using a much shorter ready made cable they connect. It could be a faulty RJ45 crimping job, but before concluding this I want to make sure it is not because of the length.
Oh and I tried a new cable too (same length). Same problem.
