We would like it to be the most watched sport in the world, but I honestly don't think it will be the most watched sport. I love football as much as the next person, but the truth of the matter is that American sports are much different from sports overseas. For example, in Europe Soccer is a very popular sport. Over in our part of the world Football is a popular sport. The bottom line is, no matter how much the NFL wants other parts of the world to watch football, it just won't happen that way. Cultures are different. Each person in every culture has their own taste. Football is a great sport however different cultures call for different likes and dislikes. Remember NFL Europe? You saw how quickly that was axed. That just proves the point that even if we try to implement leagues overseas it doesn't mean the fan base will grow larger. It has grown larger in America but not world wide. I think we may see an influx of it overseas again but it won't be the most watched sport in the world. Mainly due to cultural differences.
